I was on the phone for a meeting today and we got on the topic of grand puppies. She was caring for a new grand-puppy who had a new squeaky toy. So she started the meeting with an apology for the possible noise. I responded with” Oh honey, you just made my day!” Oh the joy of a new puppy! Wet kisses, jumping everywhere, little yelps, running back and forth playing with you and other images came to my mind and my heart. A joyful start to a Monday!
Would you have experienced the joy hearing someone had a new puppy, grand-puppy or being the uncle or aunt of a bouncing puppy?
OR You may be a cat lover. Would a new kitten bring those images to mind? Does a faint meow, a teeny tiny feline baby acting like it is a big boy, finding the kitten in it’s hiding place or other images bring a smile to your face and heart?
Maybe you are a bird lover! My daughter has a little bird named Blu who is the boss of their house! (and heart!)
