A 4 year old little boy, Bobby was running in the house, when he accidently ran into a table. His Mother’s favorite vase fell and broke. He was ready to tell his Mom that it was an accident. But the running in the house wasn’t an accident. He did that because he wanted to. His Mom and Dad had told him many times not to run in the house. Bobby’s Sunday School Teacher had told him that God could do anything and at any time. So Bobby picked up the big pieces and slid them under the sofa. There were little pieces still on the rug so Bobby pushed them under the table with his foot. He figured that he should hide it in case his Mom walked in the room while God was gluing it back together. Bobby closed his eyes and put his hands together and prayed to God to please fix the flower holder and that he would not ever run in the house again. Bobby had cleaned the accident up as best he could, Prayed to God to fix the vase, and next… he laid on his stomach next to the sofa. You see Bobby wanted to see God fix it. Bobby had faith. Bobby trusted God to do the best thing.
Aren’t we like that, we go to God with our problems, Then we want the answers immediately. If we don’t get it during our timeframe then we don’t think God is listening, doesn’t care or we start doubting God.
But sometimes , God knows the best solution will produce the best outcome for you, a little bit later.
If you want something from a friend but they are upset about something else, you wait to ask when they are in a better mood, a better mindset. God is always in a loving mindset however if the best solution involves people, you and maybe others, then the human part might not be ready for the answer to work.
Let’s trust God’s answer and God’s timing. We turn to him with our problems, let’s let him answer according to his wisdom.

God answered Bobby. Bobby’s Mom walked into the room and saw Bobby laying flat down peeking under the sofa. When Bobby admitted that he was watching God work because he had accidently broke her flower holder, God helped Mom’s heart see the important lesson in this situation. Her son , when he did wrong and he was scared of the outcome, turned to God. Her mommy heart knew that her baby knows to turn to God when he is in trouble! That is one of the most important lesson we can learn and do!
Lord, Thank you for being with us and providing the best solution in our times of need. It may not be what we thought the solution should be or when we thought it should be solved. It may not be to fix the flower holder but to soften the Mommy heart. So Mommy explained to Bobby that God’s answer was to soften her heart during this problem. And Mom knew her prayers were answered by knowing that her son would be alright even when she is not around. We thank you for your all-knowing wisdom God. Amen!
