I want to thank a young woman whom I had never met.
At the Weaverville NC Ingles, I was waiting during a extremely heavy rain, terrible thunder and lightning storm with a full buggie. After a long wait, I went for it. I was soak and wet after just a few steps but kept going. As we get older, it isn’t the getting wet that is the worse concern. It is falling on the wet pavement. Well, This young woman jumped out of her big red pick up truck holding a large umbrella. She ran to me to help cover me while I unload my buggie. She even offered to give me her umbrella. I declined that offer but thanked her.
I can’t get out of my mind the offer but even more so, her kindness and compassion to a stranger. I believe her truck went out towards Flat Creek. If she sounds like someone you know, please share this.

“Thank you stranger for your kindness and compassion. I didn’t need the umbrella but I definitely needed to see an act of kindness from a stranger. You have given me that reassurance today! Thank you, you made more of a difference than you realize.![]()
Dear Father, Please bless that young woman and all who do acts of kindness that they could just ignore the need and keep moving on. Their hearts sing like angels to a worried soul. Amen
