You can start your day off with a song in your heart and prayers to serve others…and then Holy Terror strikes.
You are feeling good. Trying to walk in your journey and then someone swoops in like a tornado then leaves, making you feel less than, useless, as good as nothing, JUST nothing.
You think, what did I do to deserve that? I try my best. I work hard. I strive to be good to people. To make their lives better.
Sometimes in life, things happen to you that you don’t deserve. Life isn’t fair. People treat you wrong. They do things to you that hurt, damage, change you!
And then I drop a bench on my big toe. Not a pretty sight. Black, blue and a weirdly translucent nail.
So what is the answer, I don’t know yet. How do you pick yourself up after a hurtful experience that slams you?
